新概念雙語(yǔ)：北京姑娘紐約賣(mài)煎餅 每天賺1500美元

女孩賣(mài)煎餅果子　　A college student selling Chinese pancake in New York has become Internet hit recently. The pancake stall is owned by a Chinese student surnamed Li， who was born in 1990s. She started to run the pancake stall on Oct. 26 this year. Every day she sells nearly 200 pancakes and gets 1，500 US dollars in return.

最近，一名中國(guó)女大學(xué)生在紐約賣(mài)煎餅之事在網(wǎng)絡(luò)走紅。煎餅攤主是位姓李的90后女生。她從今年10月26日開(kāi)始賣(mài)煎餅。每天她賣(mài)出200張煎餅，收入1500美元。

Starting up the business is not an easy thing. Li receives parking tickets every day from New York Traffic Department.

做這個(gè)生意并非易事，李同學(xué)每天都會(huì)收到紐約交通部門(mén)的違規(guī)罰單。

“Their truck is lovely and the food is delicious. Veggie pancake is sold at 7 dollars each. And you need to pay 2.5 dollars for an extra sausage or ham，” said Xu， who is a college student of the New York University.

“這個(gè)煎餅小車(chē)很可愛(ài)，煎餅也很美味。素煎餅每個(gè)7美元，加香腸或者火腿每個(gè)加2.5元，”紐約大學(xué)的許同學(xué)說(shuō)道。

Li was born and raised in Beijing. She went to the United States for college. She majored in business and minored in art history. After graduation， she did not like working in the office and came up with the idea of starting up her own business.

李同學(xué)是個(gè)土生土長(zhǎng)的北京女孩。她去美國(guó)留學(xué)(微博)，主修商科，輔修藝術(shù)歷史專(zhuān)業(yè)。畢業(yè)后，她不想悶在辦公室，所以想起了創(chuàng)業(yè)的想法。

“I am familiar with Chinese pancake because I grew up in Beijing. I barely saw Chinese pancake in New York so I thought it may have market，” Li said.

“因?yàn)閺男≡诒本╅L(zhǎng)大，我很熟悉中國(guó)煎餅。但是我很少在紐約看到煎餅，所以想到煎餅會(huì)很有市場(chǎng)，”李同學(xué)說(shuō)道。

To guarantee the quality of the food， Li had her own secret recipe of the sauce and made the crisps all by herself.

為了保證煎餅質(zhì)量，李同學(xué)自己秘制了調(diào)味汁秘方，薄脆片也是自己親手做的。

Since the opening of the pancake stall this October， the business has been good. Sometimes people queue over half an hour for the food. She sells 1，500 US dollars a day. The customers are mainly white collar workers and college students， mostly Chinese students.

自十月份煎餅攤開(kāi)業(yè)，生意一直很好。有時(shí)候人們會(huì)排隊(duì)半個(gè)多小時(shí)來(lái)買(mǎi)煎餅。李同學(xué)每天銷(xiāo)售1500美元。顧客基本是辦公室白領(lǐng)或者來(lái)自于中國(guó)的學(xué)生。
